Indeed, and its something you can really relate to. Lights often cast small patches of light like that in real life, so its something normal that would have have had kids (and probably some adults) looking over their shoulders afterwards.

Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Yes! Contrary to the popular press, Daleks have been gliding up stairs on tv since 1988... Oops

To be fair to Rob, we only know for sure that the spooky guys with the weird super powers are not the villains because we're watching through the fourth wall.

Although shouting "EX-TER-MIN-ATE" at the Doctor 10-15 times without actually doing it, it wasn't the brainiest Dalek! Maybe a Dalek related to Helen Grin

To be fair to Rob, he does have his suspicions, but he's always going to trust his own dad above the weird intruders Wink

What I love about productions like this, and there's a similar use of setting in a Paul Temple episode, is that they make somewhere small and claustrophobic so big; a place were friends can miss each other and become lost. The use of parallel dimensions is another trick up the sleeve of fantasy drama of course.

Yes, it's excellent. Very clever use of lighting and sound design add to the disturbing atmosphere. Just goes to show what can be achieved with minimal fx but with a darn good script and great actors.

Yes, Dr Who did not have an exclusive on pretty absurd cliff hangers.
