And the Federation go to all the trouble of rebuilding the Nova Queen, only for the pilot to run into another freight ship. Talk about careless!! Grin

Obviously David Maloney was keen not to blow half the season's budget on the opening two minutes. I can imagine Terry Nation's "Big Space Battle" from the script crossed out, with "Use Stock Footage" written by the side of it Pfft

Just popping in guys. Hope you're enjoying the episode from which point B7 is elevated from a great show to the best show ever. Pfft Pfft

Fantastic introduction to a new character. Diana, the huntress Smile

Can someone explain how she dragged Avon to the cave?

Nope!

He obviously shares Gan's polystyrene allergy, although not to the same extent.

Oh God, the water sports line.

Does everyone giggle at that or am I alone in my immaturity?

Also love this meeting between Servalan and Avon.

I forgot last week! No I cant believe it either. The Federation must have dosed my food with adrenalin and soma.

Wont hurt you for hijacking the Aussie rewatch Gauda Cheese (in fact I'm glad you did since I was missing in action) however I might have to do you harm for saying you're keen to get into the Avon era.......no Blake and Jenna...sob sob.... :-(

I like Tarrant and Dayna more than Jenna and Blake.

And yay you're back!

I agree - Colin has the crew.

I've always preferred Avon's 5 to Blake's 6 or Blake's 5. Although this episode is more Avon's 2. That's good as well, especially when the second one is a kick-ass, gorgeous lady.

There's a lot to like about this ep - especially the reference to classical mythology (Diana the huntress), Shakespeare (The Tempest), Stingray (Marineville)...

Nothing like a little conversing about fashion after just emerging from several life and death situations.

Talking of clothes, I love Avon's outfit in this ep - so much nicer than the studs & leather that came later.

So do I, with all its flirty undercurrents. But she does seem to make certain assumptions that we've never seen - Avon hungry for power? Really? Hungry for wealth - yes. Corruptible - probably. But power? I never thought so.

This is such a James Bond episode! Action, danger, high tech weaponry, secret bases under the sea - and the main character gets to snog two beautiful women Smile

I think it would be for Danya to get away from here. And you are a perfect stranger, you could be a serial killer, and are an older man who could if you wished take full advantage - so I think my darling daughter should leave with you.
