Steven Pacey Stratford - Jew of Malta

I think that Avon is an interesting comparison as Barabas is a victim as well as a Machiavellian plotter pursuing revenge. Season 4 Avon at least. Glad you enjoyed it. It sounds a smashing day.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

Yes very much, it's quite an intense play, much in the way King Lear is. While I was watching I compared Jasper's character, Barabas, to Avon, but on reflection I actually think he's much more Servalan-esque.

Steven's character has elements of Avon about him, he's a survivor who's not without his 'moments'.

I'll second that! A lovely day out, helped by good weather. If travelling to Stratford-on-Avon by car I recommend using one of the park and rides.

Yes I'm afraid the place is very popular and tends to lock up with traffic. In fact Steven told me that he was almost late for the performance because of the queues!
The foolish reject what they see;
the wise reject what they think.
