Thank you for posting all new photos, and the interesting information to the costumes, Lorna.
(It took me a while to remember to search for this thread)

June, doesn't she look wonderful?
I feel so sorry I had to miss meeting her...

This is Torren's Costume from Terminal. It was made to look distressed after the attack by the Links.
It was bought at a Dr Who sale in 1992 when it was described as a spacesuit!! However, the owner realised it was from Blake's 7 after looking at Gary's Facebook page. Now fortunately it is in safe hands and part of Gary's collection.

Lorna it was lovely meeting you at RGTGP. Gary's collection is amazing and has done so much to keep the B7 flag flying. It means so much to us fans to be able to see these costumes. Thank you for all the hard work, love and devotion.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

Has anybody ever considered making a catalogue of all these costumes?

I think there is on Judith Proctor's site.

EDIT: Found it - http://www.hermit...tumes.html

That's not quite what I meant by a catalogue: what I was thinking of was a more detailed inventory, with notes about the materials and construction, provenance for costumes recycled or re-used, and whether the costume is known to still be in existence and who now owns it.

I did suggest such a book to Gary and June Hudson at RTGP3. I'm no seamtress so I couldn't even begin to describe how the items are put together..although Velcro and hook and eye fastenings are used in Avon's costumes...I know, because I had to assist Andy, our victim, who volunteered to wear one or two at Smallspace that time...................Grin

But a book about B7's costumes is long overdue

Thank you Annie. I enjoyed meeting everyone at RTGP3 and seeing some new "faces"!

@Little Sue and Dragonq

I know a book on B7 costumes would be great. But I am not sure who would write it! Not me or Gary.
Gary does know about most fan-held costumes. I think he keeps a list. But even with all the costumes he cares for, and those in other hands, it is just a small proportion of those that were used on the show.

Perhaps some more will surface, but unfortunately most have been destroyed, or recycled!

Gary and Hazel came for the weekend so we could all go to the Blake's 7 and Beer do in Bristol.
Gary brought his latest costume with him. It was used in Traitor and was worn by John Quentin who played Practor. As many of Season 4 costumes it was made by Salmon Original. It is in great condition, apart from some loss of silver around the edge.
It was first sold at Longleat Dr Who weekend, and then in auction in September 1989.
Gary wanted this costume so he exchanged it for the brown Avon costume.

Great costume (and lovely model, of course!) I actually have the same type of material used to make this - I saw a piece in a sale at my local fabric shop years ago, and bought it just in case. Maybe it's time to make a costume with it.

Gary has bought a new costume. It is Servalan's costume from Pressure Point. A Horizon member sold it to the Prop Gallery who then sold it to Gary. An amazing addition to his collection. Love the detail!
