I only recognise one on that list, my Genesis education sadly lacking, now if you ask me Gary Numan, John Foxx, Human League, OMD

Electricity! great song. I have a best of OMD and I find it brilliant for late night listening especially the earlier stuff. Eldest bro is a big fan of Foxx and Numan so I heard it in the house growing up.

Sweevo - I note you list After the Ordeal. Are you in the Hackett bracket? He is touring yet again this year and he will be doing Selling England by the Pound in its entirety! Bless his little cotton socks! ....Still compiling my list...

Yes, I am, OSP. Smile

I had to walk out on an OMD concert as they were playing Enola Gay as my step daughter had slipped on a marble bar floor where she worked -hurt her wrist! LGI till 5.30 am. Great fun! I like Red Frame White Light, Souvenir

Joanne of the Human League went to see Kylie concert for her birthday last year, and she sampled Being Boiled in her set, wonder if she knew Joanne was in the audience...

If she didn't, Kylie is a witch.

Still got my 12" singles of Joan of Arc and Maid of Orleans plus a 10"single of Souvenir.

aww, that's nice. I loved those old 12" singles

Doom soundtrack (the classic FPS from 1993, even though the game scares the polyester pants off me).

Best songs from each Genesis album (in my humble opinion):

1. The Silent Sun (From Genesis to Revelation, their long-disowned debut album)
The stand out track. Very PG
2. The Knife (Trespass)
This is where Genesis began. I love the drama of the music
3. The Return of the Giant Hogweed (Nursery Cryme)
I have to go with The Musical Box: the SOUND of it as the opening track. Nothing like it and very underrated.
4. Supper's Ready (Foxtrot)
Brilliant of course and Horizons leads up to it perfectly.
5. After the Ordeal (Selling England By the Pound)
Gotta go with Cinema Show. The opening bars bring tears to my eyes. Great guitar playing across the album.
6. The Carpet Crawlers (The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway[/i
Great track but how to choose from so many? Cuckoo Cocoon, In The Cage, Back in New York City...
7. Ripples ([i]A Trick of the Tail
)
Beautiful song but I love Mad Man Moon and Los Endos.
8. Afterglow (Wind & Wuthering)
Beyond words beautiful. But I love One for the Vine for the fantastic story and the writing of Tony Banks.
9. Many Too Many (And Then There Were 3)
Undertow...that Tony Banks!
10. Turn It On Again (Duke)
Great driving theme but I love Heathaze...Oh Tony...
11. Dodo/Lurker (Abacab)
Keep It Dark!
12. Home By the Sea Suite (Genesis, AKA "The Shapes Album" )
Fantastic. The drum sounds that opens Second Home by the Sea!
13. Domino Suite (Invisible Touch)
Being obvious, Land of Confusion
14. Fading Lights (We Can't Dance)
15. The Dividing Line (Calling All Stations)

And next week I will change my mind!

I used to be such a sweet sweet thing
Till they got a hold of me.

Child Of Auron
A live version of Kyle singing "I Believe In You" recorded in New York
