Nice banner, Scott!

We've just watched one of innumerable videos people have made to accompany "Star Wars Cantina", the Richard Cheese song based on "Copacabana" (AKA "At the Copa").

One part of the video shows Luke getting his hand chopped off and there is a shot of Mark Hamill hiding his hand up his sleeve. It looks just as obvious as it did when we used to do that sort of thing as kids and it made me think, "If it's that difficult to hide something as small as a hand, what made them think they could do the same thing with a bloke's head in 'Headhunter'?"

I loved that music!
You know, if it wasn't Robinson Crusoe being repeated.....it was Heidi.
And the station announcer always said 'And now, the new series of Heidi!'
Cue groans from 2 daughters..."Not AGAIN!?"

the french version doesn't have the classic theme! There's one episode of the original french on the dvd boxset. Don't think they could show it now, quite violent when they deal with the cannibals etc

The song's been going through my head ever since the Sapphire and Steel Assignment 2 rewatch.
"You'd never get a cat to be a servant. You ever see a cat return a stick? "Hey, man! You threw the stick, you go get it yourself! I'm busy! If you wanted the stick so bad, why'd you throw it away in the first place?"

Grade Four Ignorant
I've been depressed lately and have spent a lot of time listening to The Division Bell by Pink Floyd. It produces a strange effect in me which is hard to describe. A strange euphoria of depression where I gain an almost weird, masochistic pleasure from the sadness induced in me by the contemplative voice of the album. Almost like saying "this song explains me". I always feel a prickle of tears in my eye when I play the track Lost for Words, especially when these lyrics are sung beautifully by David Gilmour.

Can you see your days blighted by darkness?
Is it true you beat your fists on the floor?
Stuck in a world of isolation,
While the ivy grows over the door.
