Oh, how the generations roll! This is the group kids used to listen to in order to scandalise their parents!

"You Are Dead" from the Windows PC game "Total Distortion"... quite possibly the catchiest "Game Over" song ever performed. You can listen to it here: https://www.youtu...nhhUqtUqtU

Los Santos Rock Radio, a fictional radio station from the video game "Grand Theft Auto 5". It's full of really awesome tracks, such as "I Don't Care Anymore" by Phil Collins, "Big Log" by Robert Plant, Queen's seminal live favourite "Radio Ga Ga", Don Johnson's "Heartbeat", Julian Lennon's best-known hit "Too Late for Goodbyes", Belinda Carlisle's "Circle in the Sand", Steve Winwood's "Higher Love", Gerry Rafferty's signature song "Baker Street" and the epitome of 80s rock, Kenny Loggins with "Danger Zone". Smile

Incidentally, out of the three playable protagonists - Franklin Clinton, Michael Townley/De Santa and Trevor Philips, I play as Michael the most.

As long as it wasn't "Bodies"!

As far as I know, none of the Pistols tracks have been used in a B7 fanvid, with the exception of "Silly Thing" (Click for fanvid). "Silly Thing" is really just Cook & Jones - but it seems quite appropriate.

It can be heard on on BBC iPlayer at about 43 mins into the programme, and a discussion thread has been started by ML Pasterisk here

"The Knife" by Genesis - a live staple in their early tours (usually played as an encore) up until Peter Gabriel's departure, after which it was only played sporadically (last played in 1980 on the Duke Tour). I think the tone and lyrics of the song describe Blake pretty well. Smile

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (Remastered CD).

A classic.

My favourite tracks are the title track, "Broadway Melody of 1974", "In the Cage" (a live favourite), "Hairless Heart" (Steve Hackett's instrumental composition and one of his best works), "The Carpet Crawlers", "Lilywhite Lilith", and, of course, the "Slippermen" suite. One of the strangest albums I've ever heard.

It was a concept album put together at a time when things were not at peace in the personal lives of the band members. They wanted to experiment and expand and for the first time release a double album. Their mindset went down onto vinyl and was a departure, for sure. I love it.

As I do today's offering, 'The Kick Inside' - Kate Bush.

One of the UK's finest talents, still. A real character. A true individual. Does it her way and will not conform or modernise to please the masses. A total genius. A unique human being.

Sounds fantastic on CD over decent speakers. 'Wuthering Heights' still sends a shiver up my spine. She was just 19 when she recorded that track. Amazing.

Going through a ZZ Top phase right now - currently on "Doubleback" from their Recycler album (the song also appears in the movie Back to the Future Part III - my favourite of the trilogy).

Child Of Auron
Whenever I come on here to check the boards my ipod is always on in the background, my music continually on shuffle.

So I have decided to put my musical tastes out there - whatever song/tune etc is playing when I log on I will put up. It will be interesting to see if it will be varied or if coincidence will play a part and similar artists come up each evening.

Anyway Day 1 of this is....

I Have A Dream - ABBA from their "Gold" album
