what tunes are you listening to?

Genesis Live in Zurich, marking the 40th anniversary of one of Steve Hackett's last, if not his last, gig with the band. Smile

rojkerr1
Midnight cowboy sndtrak

Genesis Live at Wembley Stadium, marking the 30th anniversary of their famous show which concluded the globe-trotting Invisible Touch tour (including the "In the Cage" medley, which is absent from the video - I have a bootleg recorded from the BBC Radio 1 broadcast).

sweevo
Genesis Live over Europe (2007), a mainly rain-heavy European tour culminating in a free concert in Italy, at Rome's Circus Maximus (or rather, what's left of it), with over 200,000 people in attendance (not counting those in the city streets listening). Smile

Everyone's favourite insult by Cee Lo Green (I heard the edited version on the radio, which turned a great song into a travesty, so I have to wash out that horrible experience by listening to the uncut version).

sweevo
"I Don't Care Anymore" by Phil Collins, because I'm starting to not give a damn about much (time of year depression).

Ghost....Meloria.

Cirice from the album won a Best Metal Performance Grammy in 2016.

It's Father's Day in Australia so I'm listening to "Father's Day" by Punks Not Dad:

"The four year old's made a cup of tea/It's already cold and it smells like wee/.../Father's Day, Father's Day/Two half-eaten bars of Milky Way"

Travisina

Happy Father's Day, JD Smile

I wonder who decides on the dates for Father's Day in each country? Ours is in June, a couple of weeks after Father-in-Law's birthday - very inconvenient!

Thanks, T!

We have the Queen's Birthday in June (with the exception of WA, I think - I think they have their Foundation Day in June), so I guess that is why Father's Day is held later.

Freddie Mercury's famous cover version of "The Great Pretender", to mark what would have been his 71st birthday. Smile

Hubby and I saw a Freddie Mercury tribute act during one of our cruises. Both 'Freddy' and the resident backing group were brilliant, (the guitarist got a standing ovation for sounding just like Brian May!!!)
But what I loved was the chap's interaction with all the youngsters in the front rows who had been brought along by their Queen loving parents.
Here was this chap strutting around the stage wearing Freddie's outrageous outfits, singing these glorious songs and then kneeling down to shake hands with these youngsters who had no idea who he was, "Hello darlings, I see you've brought Mummy and Daddy with you." By the end of the show these youngsters were jumping up and down with glee and running upto the stage to shake the chap's hand.
Brand new Queen fans were born that night!!!!
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!
