what tunes are you listening to?
Child Of Auron
I currently am listening to a Fleetwood Mac concert from November 1979.

I am on a high as Christine McVie is back in the band, they are touring as a 5 piece once more and there is talk of a new album

yes - this is exciting news - i would love to see them in concert so lets hope that the tickets have a realistic price tag and don't involve silly money.....christine has a lovely voice and FM is not the same without her...glad she has changed her mind..and a new album would be wonderful too......

Christine has always been my favourite vocalist across the band's lifetime. I got to see her perform with them back in 1990 at Wembley Stadium so I am really hoping they come to the UK

When I was a kid our 1988 woody paneled jeep had a tape deck. We had both the Beach Boys and Jan and Dean (my father likes '50s and 60'd music and so do I) and we would play them on trips until my mother got fed up and made us turn it off. I still have the tapes, I should dig them out have a listen.

I'm glad to help preserve Linda's songs. It's very worthwhile both from a B7 point of view but more importantly in helping to remember Linda. I've also been thinking more about what you said about preserving old zines and have been looking around for a cheap OCR capable scanner.

I am using our HP Photosmart 5520 to scan in each zine as is. I then use photoscape (is that it?) to crop the pages and then put them one page at a time into a word doc. Once the whole lot is ready I then convert it to a PDF. With the A5 zines I have to scan both pages, once I've dismantled the zine, and use the photo thingy to seperate the pages and then just have the pages following in order. It's very time consuming esp as the printer scanner keeps losing contact with the computer!!!!
I'm part way through Orbit 4 at the mo. Then I have Slave to do...........
