He had obviously been provided with the 'facts' of the show, that Blake handily recites (ciphers, the attack on central control etc) but I don't think he actually WATCHED any episodes.

And utterly pointless. Why stick a false eye over a bandage over an eyepatch? IT MAKES NO SENSE!

Is it just me, or is that scene between Shivan and VG utterly incomprehensible?

Has any gone down the loo roll route? I think it helps with this episode when you can't see the TV screen. All it then needs is something so you can't hear the episode either, and that would be perfect.

I think Villa likes his new role.

You could be right. There's references to "The Way Back", but a lot of those references are wrong e.g. Ven Glynd was not at Blake's trial.

Roger Parkes also wrote some of the worst episodes of "Survivors". But also the odd good one. With B7, he's also variable, because I can't stand VFTP (one of only two 'dud' B7 episodes IMO), but like COA and Headhunter.

He watched the show after writer this episode and it showed? Because he wrote two cracking stories after this pile of butt.

The docking sequence is quite nice, and I like all the different shots of the Liberator, inside and out. (Did anybody say, 'Padding'? But they're the best bits of this ep!)

I love how Cally/Jan's automatic reaction to Avon pointing a gun in her direction is to assume he's aiming at her - only afterward she realises there is someone behind her. So real.
