Characters like Par are another reason I love this show. Seeing things from the prospective of a grunt and he's a face we can imagine behind the anonymous black mask.

Just leave the sobbing big baby on the planet.

That's a bit harsh.

But fair. Grin

We saw the way Blake behaved last week....

So he was a bit obsessed with destroying the Federation. Considering they are the greatest force for evil ever you cant blame him for that surely.

Obsessed with destroying the Federation, or obsessed with being Blake who destroyed the Federation? There's a difference.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

VILA I see. You've decided to be led like the rest of us.
AVON I shall continue to follow. It's not quite the same thing.
VILA I don't see the difference.

Brilliant.

Blake is never quite the same after "Pressure Point"... everyone know he's not quite the ideological leader he claims to be... he's on borrowed time.

And it does seem that 'Trial' is the first time we see a game.

Nice. I'm wrong on Death Watch, but I like to imagine Vila has stolen all sorts of fun board games to lose at.

Oh common, the guy been tortured, brainwashed, had his family and friend murdered, had his reputation slurred with false allegations and sentenced to life on a prison planet and chased all around the galaxy, he's entitled to a quirk or two.

Zil: Resist it. Oneness must resist the Host.

A metaphor for Blake (One) resisting the Federation (the absorbing Host)? There's a lot of subtext in this ep, you know.

On the Liberator, after chess in "Weapon".

And "Warlord" the last. I hadn't spotted that one before.

So is the whole of Ultraworld a big metaphor rather than a Star Trek inspired runaround? Pfft

I do like Blake's line "I'm not ready to surrender anything!"

There's a massive irony here. It's Avon who brings back Blake.

Not sure about describing killing Gan as a quirk.
