Have fun!

I laughed so hard at some of the captions that the neighbors probably heard me. I've been inflicting my pictures on unsuspecting friends, but it is more fun with people who "get it".

Great photos Hugbot, thanks for sharing them. Happy
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Thanks Hugbot! I too enjoyed reading your amusing captions whilst looking at these great pictures. Lovely to have met you too.

Hi All,

Looks like you all had a really wonderful time! I was sorry to have missed it, and will try harder to be in the UK when the next one takes place (there will be an RTGP3, won't there, Clare?!).

I'd like to put together an article about RTGP2 for the website. Clare has kindly sent me a 'behind-the-scenes' article, but it would be great if others could send me their personal impressions and reminiscences about the day - those who were reuniting with old friends and those who were meeting fellow fans for the first time - especially those of you who crossed the pond or the channel for the occasion. The more submissions the merrier - I can either publish them separately, or more likely make one giant article that includes everybody's contributions. And pictures too, please! Please PM me for details of how to send these in. Deadline for submissions: 15th May.

Awful! Thank you all for sharing your thoughts, experiences and photos!!!

And I have not seen/read them all yet; I am catching up bits, I've been away for far too long ( about 3 weeks??)
WOW! Well done Clare!

Hey, did I notice a familiar tie, Brad?

Terrific effort fellow fans. At this stage if there's such an event to be held next year, I should be able to make it pending no urgent aircraft repairs being sprung.

Special thanks to hugbot for the great photos. For those of us that can't make it(when will teleporters finally come of age??), it's a real treat to be able to share in some of the magic.

Everyone looked like they had a marvelous time and the costumes looked terrific. (Way to go SC, the original Servalan outfit definitely suits you).

In order to attend this event in the future, I'm going to have to put together a Blakes 7 costume. Perhaps a Vila costume. Not many fans seem to do Vila. I'd go the Avon costume for Season 4, however I think it might be a bit hard to get through the metal detectors. If I had the helmet, I'd go Federation trooper. Think I'll stay clear of the alternate Soolin, Servalan or Dayna costumes though.

Most of all, I'll have to work out a way to bring along a couple of models for display. (Planning, working, working.....).

WOW, did I see a couple of versions of ORAC on display??? Smile Smile

DOUBLE WOW, for the first time ever. All 4 versions of ORAC plus BABY ORAC. Who did those first 3 versions? There terrific. The baby Orac is possibly the original as is Season 4 Orac owned by Matt, but those other 3 are breath taking. Very impressive is the difference in height(the Season 1 and 2 Orac's are larger than the 3 and 4 versions). Oh how I would have liked to have taken a close look at those. There's been some very close attention to the positioning and length of the inner tubes and circuit boards as well. An extremely magnificient scratch build and kudos to whoever it was that built those.

Absolutely MARVELOUS!!!

Nope as the photo I missed states Baby Orac (accompanying card)is a replica(although the original is floating around, a shame the owner couldn't appear but the replica is terrific in any case), really looking forward for those photos exterminator. What a treasure trove to be sure.

Here's a couple of shots of my own Baby Orac replica:

The Baby Orac and the Oracs on the left (early version from "Orac", clear) and right (later version from Season 2, with the coloured Perspex inserts added) were made for me by a chap called Jim Costello (if anyone wants his details, PM me and I will pass them on). The Orac in the middle is the one from "Blake's Junction 7", voiced by Peter Tuddenham.

Terrific photos everyone! Always good to see who's who. Still catching up after a few weeks away. Looks as though a great time was had by all. *Love* the costumes. Here's hoping that one day I can get over there to join in all the fun.
