Joe Dredd

Maybe Ensor thinks he's coming back once he's powered up again?

There's Avon in his silver parka - typical Avon, the first to abandon the team look.

Yes Ensor even said he's coming back. It just that we know he doesn't so..... 'poor little fishies'.

Avon (for the 3rd time trying) is the Sheriff of Nottingham. Grin

I like that "I was aiming for his head."

Derek Farr doesn't mind his character being killed off. He knows they'll need him to keep voicing Orac in future episodes!

There's one of the cowboy quotes.

Didn't Blake shave this morning?

Great line - and totally ripped off in Firefly.

Joe Dredd
Orac sounds a bit like Richard Vernon.

Obsidian
Blake is rugged and manly...
Does Derek Farr get a re-run later?

Avon's about to laugh.

Something I saw recently was a total B7 rip off. Can't remember what. There's more owing to B7 than many would think.

That image of Liberator looked like a cut-out on a stick! ...which it probably was.

Oh I know now why Orac came into Blake's Seven. It was purely to entertain Avon. He seems to be having heaps of fun laughing at Orac's responses. :-)

Yes, but B7 ripped it off too. Chris Boucher and Paul Darrow were fans of westerns, so CB slipped in lines from various cowboy movies several times over the years. From memory this one was originally "I was aiming for his horse."

Oh really. Poor horse. Mental note - must watch more cowboy movies - NOT!!!

Joe Dredd
There was a PGP fanfic called "A Matter of Perception" that had Avon & Vila's escape attempt ruined by a flaw in Orac that was down to one of the issues with Ensor in this episode.

Mmm. Think you're right. Whatever it was it was on here in Oz recently. Been lots of B7 people in repeats here in recent weeks.

Very tough. Seems to improve at the end though.
