Protest Colin Rewatch - Moloch

Doran would make a good crew member.

Definitely a 'darker' side to Doran...the expression when he replies 'no' to Vila's question about whether or not he likes women...suggests he could either be rapist or murderer...or both...

Doran... perhaps not a rapist, but certainly violent.

Agreed.

It's an uncomfortable scene. Is it meant to be funny? Vila looks creeped out. As do I...

He killed a guard who killed his woman (wife?). Hardly the same thing.

Not wanting to derail the thread or drift into quoting the Liberation guidebook, but the words 'allegedly' and 'unsubstantiated' come to mind...
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

But we don't know Doran's circumstances either. Just assumptions. He seems quite an amiable chap... any darker side could put down to the 15 years he's spent on a penal colony after being falsely convicted.

Which begs the question, 'How does Gan get a limiter, but Doran and others do not?'

Perhaps there is more to Gan's story than he is telling.

Servalan outlines the training that Fed space pilots have...and what Tarrant underwent...being ex Fed himself...shame the writers tended to forget it...the character would IRL be more intelligent than is written in B7....shame...lament over...
