I really enjoyed an Australian zine called Femme Fatale, really good stories about female scifi characters, would love to get a copy again - had a story in myself about Sharron from the Champions, ending up in the Village from the Prisoner. |

A quick shout out for Rehearsal. This vignette originally appeared in the club zine Horizon 14 and is responsible for inspiring a number of other fics, including "Loose Ends" in Chronicles 48 and "Animal Nature" in the 2001 zine, TOPFA ("Trooper Orac's Fantastic Plastic Army"). Little is known about the author although her various guises include pirate, data ninja and literary genius. She modestly plays down her connections with the entertainment industry, and her talent for pairing apposite pictures has been remarked on in several quarters. |

I can so see Blake and Avon competing with the snarky comments. |

Re; Macheavelli Factor. I've actually copied and pasted the entire story into a word document and made it a good size (Times new Roman 16) to be able to read in comfort and am correcting the mistakes as pointed out by previous members. It runs to over 140,000 words and over 200 pages! So this was a big zine when it came out back in the day!!!!! Now sitting with a cuppa and biccies.................... Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold. Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!! sues stories http://sjlittle.w... sues youtube channel http://www.youtub...e54/videos sues book shelf https://www.media...ne%20Shelf rebel run video http://www.youtub...prqS-XZtLo Lara and Sue's Stories http://lectorisal....webs.com/ |

Recommended: Short stories by Peladon - Body Snatcher https://www.fanfi...y-Snatcher - very short. Blonde on Blonde https://www.fanfi...-on-Blonde - slightly longer Crime and Punishment https://www.fanfi...punishment - slightly longer still. My favourite of the three is Crime & Punishment. I'd love to hear your reactions to the book so by all means read it and share your views. But 'Oi- don't think I can take much more of it. -Paula Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.

Machiavelli Factor http://www.hermit...mp;ST=0536 Quibell Abduction http://www.hermit...mp;ST=0509 Note that the Hermit copy of Machiavelli Factor has some bloopers: . duplicated chapter "Waytrack" (yes, it's there twice) - I notified Hermit but they won't correct it . there look to be 2 spots where some text got chopped or mixed up: One spot: he was swept under by dreamless sleep. [ some blank lines = section break ] d regarded the man sitting opposite her with a certain wariness. And further down: Dayna sat down gingerly an "I wish to see my friends," Cally repeated. (which does not really compute, grammar-wise.......) Someone suggested that "Dayna sat down gingerly an" is just misplaced & should be at the "d regarded" spot. Peladon, if you have a printed copy is it different in the printed copy? I couldn't see these linked on this thread so I copied it across ![]() |

Here's a couple more. Soolin & Vila have to travel back in time to MAKE SURE that Blake's caught by the Federation to be mind-wiped (the first time, I think). BUT IT ALL REALLY MAKES SENSE! The Next Best Thing to Fidelity: http://shimere277...19583.html (The story is gen, but you'll have to press a button claiming you're over 18 as the author writes some adult fic) And another favorite by the same author: Hanna and the Red Shoes. http://b7friday.l...68720.html I really liked the character of Hanna, & this short B7 fic about her is poignant & tightly written. |

Can I just say that I am enjoying this story, 'All Foam and Ice',so much that I think I may copy and paste it and transfer it over to my Tablet. Then I can take it away on holiday with me to read again. Roll on Chapter 5![]() In fact, I'm taking the other two parts as well, Straight up and Bitter and Halloween Treat! A few of my favorite humorous pieces (all fairly short). Not everything has to be life of death Fair trade (never let your career criminals do the shopping) https://www.fanfi...Fair-Trade A Low Level of Efficiency (Zen on the subject of illness. The definition of "Damn you Blake!" is a serious contender for best fic line ever) https://www.fanfi...Efficiency Revolution! I agree about the definition of 'Damn you Blake!' - that was a laugh out loud moment! Revolution! (our heroes watch the new vidcast from Lindor) http://b7friday.l...59539.html This one I loved, especially the character names in the viscast. It took me a few moments to get 'Tems' until I said it aloud and the penny dropped! Vilakins' stories are great ![]() Know Your Enemy (this one is from the children playing B7 prompt, use lines from kids playing make-believe for the "real" characters) http://b7friday.l...l#comments Not sure about this - a bit over-cute (trying too hard?) for my taste. But thanks as ever for the recommendations, Ellen! Twitter: @TravisinaB7

It took me a few moments to get 'Tems' Going into this from your description Travisina, I thought it was going to be one of Lindor's TV channels - Tems Television! But when I read it, it was a nod to another name entirely! Can't argue with that! |
