Hmmm, how strange that this chap lives in Southampton too...just like the other chap who was going to put his model on Four Rooms and /or send it to the USA for an auction....
I just don't have that sort of money to hand......so, I'm outAngry

Ah ha, I can throw a bit of light on this!

This is NOT our friend Chris Tarrant with his 80K Liberator that was on "Four Rooms", this is a chap called Ahmed. He lives in the Southampton area and is/was friends with Chris. He measured Chris' Liberator to enable a copy to be produced. I've met Ahmed, he's a nice chap. He also owns (at least I think he's still got it) a very good replica K-9, exactly like the original dog owned by Mat Irvine - even the interior mechanisms match!

I believe the last time this came up, I pointed out how it would be absurd to pay 10,000 pounds for anything Blake's 7, even Jenna....

... Only to be promptly and properly corrected by Clanger.

I don't believe that for a second. If you won the lottery, you'd be there, admit it. Smile

littlesue(and anyone else who would like a liberator but doesn't have the time to scratch build etc), Titanfind is looking into doing another run of there Liberator model kits. The kit builds to about twice the size of the comet miniatures kit. It's pretty darn impressive for the price. Go to www.titanfind.com

Please note that the Titanfind kits are resin, so to glue them together will require a bit of sanding etc. You also need to wash the parts and use a good quality superglue. Standard polystyrene cement(plastic model glue) will be useless for building a resin model.

No, if I won the lottery, I'd buy the original off Matt Irvine.
