Colin Rewatch - Rumours Of Death
trevor travis
The episode: Colin Eight - Rumours Of Death
The date: Tuesday, June 17th, 2014
The time: 7.45pm UK time

In which we find Bercol has been moonlighting as a Federation interrogator, Avon has lost his razor (I suspect the Sopron has hidden it as a wheeze), and Servie gets chained to the wall of an underground cellar, which shows writer Chris Boucher obviously shares the same fantasies as much of the male viewing audience Wink

As far as days go, Avon has had better ones than this. He finds his girlfriend is alive only to be given a dreadful choice... join the National Trust or shoot her. Of course, he shoots her.

Oh, TT- I laughed out loud at your synopsis of Rumours of Death. Thanks, I needed a good laugh! Can't wait to sit in on the rewatch- probably my favorite of all the episodes. ( Don't tell Grant! Or the National Trust!) -Paula

Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

This is the episode where John Sheridan realises that his wife Anna is not dead after all, but then discovers that she is working for the wrong side so that he is forced to kill her ... ooops, wrong series!

But seriously, this is the most striking B5/B7 similarity I have spotted ... JMS didn't even bother to change the name!

Watching those B5 episodes for the first time, I had a strange feeling of Deja Vu.

Check the cellar, garage, and/or garden shed for mysterious pods.

I knew it! I knew exactly what the "staying in" photo for this week will be!

Which makes me a member of the minority, I'm afraid, as my fantasies (1) don't involve any chains and (2) revolve around a certain other member of the cast ...

I was going to say that there are alot of ladies on this forum who imagine a certain computer expert involved with chains...but I won't, 'cos I'm a refined lady...although it appears that another hero of mine (this time from the 60s) Adam Adamant, does seem to end up in chains, ropes etc in almost every episode of Adam Adamant LivesSmile

Don't worry, Servalan will be released unhamed and her presidency restored just as soon as she renews her membership to....

Well, you know...

Fortunately Avon has finally joined, allowing the National Trust to send Hobb down to the cellar just in time.

That's certainly not me, I dislike the "certain computer expert involved with chains". I love the brainy one.

But I respect fans who fantasize about the chainy one.
