Kevin's B7 doco - part three
Joe Dredd
The third and final part is up, for those who haven't seen it before: Click!
President Solvite
Yes indeed. I highly recommend it..
I have loved seeing these. Once again, it's such a shame they were not included on the DVDs.
This one is my favourite...no need to guess why! Grin
The foolish reject what they see;
the wise reject what they think.

Ah, big Josette Simon fan, right? ; )
Gauda Cheese
I was stupidly hoping Simon would be in it. Enjoying it though

Just finished watching it. Not as good as part 2 but still enjoyable.

Was Part 4 made?
Fantastic, very generous of Kevin to share these.

I think the offline editing and floor running is particularly good in this one.
Such great docos you've made! Here is a happy fan; thank you for sharing!

Out of curiosity, why isn't Paul Darrow in these?

I can't take any credit for them Lurena, they're all the work of Kevin Jon Davies and his talented helpers, at least one of whom is an active part of these forums! My apologies if I mislead you with my comment about offline editing. I can only wish I was involved!

Paul Darrow had ties with B7E at the time and wasn't allowed to participate. They'd parted company by the time Kevin was working on the S4 DVDs in 2005. KJD was then able to interview Paul at the Science Museum in 2005 for inclusion in that set.

Clarrant, I enjoyed it for the same reason!! Steven was marvellously funny and made me laugh out loud many a time and of course, he's so easy on the eye .... a real shame there was no Paul though ...

I would absolutely love these to be available on a DVD, so that I could watch them on TV along with my B7 episodes!

Thanks for all the very kind reviews. I had a great team helping me on those programmes over a decade ago, as well as back in 1993 when the first interviews were recorded. I posted part one on YouTube on a whim a few weeks ago, wondering how Andrew Sewell at B7E would react. To my surprise and delight he simply re-posted it on Facebook, thereby endorsing it, as far as I was concerned. However, just to be sure I checked and he agreed to let the others be seen too, although technically they all belong to BBC Video / Worldwide /2 Entertain / whatever they are called this year.... Smile

Make the most of it. They could eventually be taken down, we just don't know...

A few years ago there was a plan for a Best of B7 DVD set, with a version of the docus included, but the paperwork was not completed when the project was cancelled and that means it's now quite difficult to clear the progs properly for release. To be honest, I'd do it all very differently now, so let these originals stand as they were for the time being...
Thanks very much Kevin:- you clearly put a fantastic amount of work into these great documentaries over several years. I loved the cross-cutting between the interviewees and the episode dialogue, as if the B7 characters themselves were commenting on the show!
Nice hat, Kevin.

Hi Kevin, thanks very much, the documentaries are fantastic.
