They hide under Og.

I must admit that I love "Sand" too - much better than the moribund (no pun intended) "Sarcophagus". I also quite like "Assassin". In fact all of series Derek apart from "Traitor" and "Power". Yep, I even like "Stardrive" - Barbara Shelley is fantastic and the Space Rats a refreshing alternative to the usual space pirates.

(that would make a good name for a fan club too! oh...)

I love Sand, too. Stardrive has its moments, especially Avon's callous last line, which is canonically important in his character development throughout the last season.

Games - if only for Servalan's wonderfully camp entrance and finger click - makes me smile contentedly every time.

I'm not saying it is my favourite episode, but I do adore it Happy

I'd say Gambit. It was always a favorite of mine as it's so bizarre. -Paula

The keeper, love the explosive crossbows, travis's pass at Servalan, the implanted message, 'a fool knows everything and nothing...'

Mine would be 'Warlord'. It seems to get a lot of stick but I massively enjoyed watching it recently. Apart from the occasional poor performance at the beginning, i loved the direction and the destruction of the Zenon base is stunningly tense TV. Bobby Brown is adorable, the actor playing Zukan is excellent and the whole episode sets up the finale rather brilliantly.

I would easily give it 9/10 for sheer entertainment.

Roy Boyd as Zukan makes Warlord immensely enjoyable. He's brilliant. So different to his usual roles, too.

I watched DW: Hand Of Fear and only realised it was the same chap when his name came up in the end credits.

I liked Voice from the Past, Hostage and Sarcophagus. Headhunter is quite funny, too. My secret favorite would have to be Mission To Destiny. Watching Avon play Columbo is fun. Smile

Of those, I like Mission to Destiny and Sarcophagus.
Headhunter and Hostage have their moments, but I'm dreading next week's rewatch of Voice from the Past!

I agree, Warlord is probably the only series D ep I would ever chose to watch.

Oh, I'm ahead of the rewatch schedule then, I'm watching that one now. Avon's bedside manner cracks me up.
"You'd never get a cat to be a servant. You ever see a cat return a stick? "Hey, man! You threw the stick, you go get it yourself! I'm busy! If you wanted the stick so bad, why'd you throw it away in the first place?"
