Sue - that is a fantastic photo! I had one of them myself for many years. It was always on my desk when I was teaching. One day when I was on a course and a supply teacher was in my class it got smashed (along with half my classroom) when one of the children had a 'special moment'. It was quite hard to explain to the rest of the staff why I was so upset about an old pencil pot being smashed.

Does that mean that you would like me to look out for another as I tour various car boot sales?

If you're being genuine there Sue - I'd love that. I was only sharing an anecdote, but not being able to get out anymore car boots are one of many things I miss. If you ever find another, I'd love it, pay you back for it and the postage and have a very nice bottle of wine delivered to you to spill all over your keyboard.

I shall add that to the list of B7 items to look for...Corgi Libbys, B7 Jigsaws, Annuals.......

Orac doesn't seem to think he'd cease to exist if the ship is swallowed by a black hole. This makes me hypothesize that Orac is actually a program, not a computer, a virus, or sorts, and the persepx box is merely the interface for said program.

Or perhaps it is just mistaken??

This is an odd episode to rewatch in sequence (I only remember the S3 repeats from first transmission. After the near continuous drama of Star One/Aftermath/Powerplay and Servalan and the crew scrambling to establish a base in Volcano and still kind of looking for Blake, the next episode begins with... a game of Monopoly. Odd odd odd.

Interesting. Where would its real self be? Back on waterworld?

It's real self is a trojan program that has infected every computer with a Tariel Cell.

He's a bit scared about Dorian's bomb in Power though.

I have noticed that the occupants of this spacecraft have a lamentable lack of interest in the more fascinating aspects of the universe.
This is pretty offensive towards the crew. Orac is taking a risk here, doesn't it?
