Don't worry - you'll see lots more of him! But the gum infection sounds nasty - hope it's clearing up.

Why would she?
You're not sulking, I hope?

I think one of the things I love about this episode is that you genuinely think Tarrant is Federation right up until the end.

One of my best things is the name 'Clegg' Perfect. Clegs are horrible things. Don't know if you have them downunder - a fly that doesn't buzz, so you aren't expecting the bite.

I've not heard of those. On Kibbutz (northern Israel) there were horrible little flies called 'Barchashim'. Tiny, silent and very bite-y, especially in the watermelon fields. Travelled in swarms.

Shocking in Damascus too. We lived over the wall from the Ghouta and big cactus fields. Delicious fruit but the flies were horrid. They are a type of sandfly.

The Kibbutz wasn't far from Syria, actually, so they were probably the same type of flies.

They would have been exactly the same I'm sure. Little transparent green things? Worse than our sandflies here.

Uh-oh, Vila's gone the wrong way. I love this location!

I like the location too. Do you remember where it is?

Not off the top of my head - I could look it up...

...looked it up. Two locations in Yorkshire: How Steen Gorge and Plumpton Rocks

Aha! I'm in Yorkshire. I wonder where they are, exactly,

Here you go: How Stean Gorge (sorry, mispelled above) https://www.howst...
Plumpton Rocks https://plumptonr...

Beautiful! I'd love to visit.
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

Hey Tyce! Good to hear from you. Sorry about the infection - hope it clears up soon.
You're not sulking, I hope?

AnneArthur
Oh, that's interesting - Tarrant is checking Chenga on a little mobile phone sized pocket computer. Didn't notice that before.

Thanks Travisina. I'm often back home in Yorkshire. I've not heard of either, but they sound - and look - like great places to visit.
Avon: "Not enough! Not nearly enough! Dammit, what weighs seventy kilos?"
Orac: "Vila weighs seventy-three kilos, Avon."
Avon: "Vila, are you here? I need your help."

Yep, that's them. Worse than mosquitos (which were also plentiful).

I love spotting new things - doesn't matter how many times I've watched an ep, there's always something new!

I love the way Tarrant patronises Avon here - but he's playing with fire.

You wouldn't want to be bitten by them now. Aleppo fly (leishmaniasis) is coming back thanks to the war. Sad

Hi Tyce! Sorry you haven't been well.

And we have the big reveal. He wants Avon's approval - and he isn't going to get it.

The bedding on Liberator is seriously unattractive – like nylon sheets. Sad

Do they deliberately put Vila in that brown velevety stuff that shows the damp to make him look even more stupid?
