What are these people based on? Ancient Egypt? Central America?

Avon: This is MY ship.

Oh yeah? Jenna might have something to say about that. And Blake.
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

Not a Girl Guide then... Smile

But hasn't the gumption to keep it hidden. In case....
You're not sulking, I hope?

Ooh, I love Avon's 'This is MY ship'. All his possessiveness, resentment, egotism in one sentence.

I think Vila sometimes does the talk (not just to himself) because it's a form of bluff and distraction.

For sure. One of his survival mechanisms.

How I see it.

I think one of the things I love about this episode is that you genuinely think Tarrant is Federation right up until the end.

Nope! My Mum was, though. There was one family barbecue when my Dad insisted on being in charge of lighting it (and doing very badly - he'd not been in the Scouts), while Mum just rolled her eyes!

More Central America than Egypt but this show is remarkably cross-cultural. Just depends what was available in the BBC props department.

I also like the 'hospital' ship that isn't. More cunning misdirection.

One of my best things is the name 'Clegg' Perfect. Clegs are horrible things. Don't know if you have them downunder - a fly that doesn't buzz, so you aren't expecting the bite.

The Chenga 'hospital' ship seems to have got some of its styling from the Yellow Submarine.

Central America makes sense.

VIla, Cally - remember, not all nurses are nice. Don't be taken in by the uniform!
You're not sulking, I hope?

Nice to see that Cally survived - and now I'm interested in the other two women in her ward. Who are they? Where did they come from?

Just checked – Horse Flies. Yes, we have them, but I don't think I've ever heard the term Cleg before.
