Avon does the "This is my wife" so smoothly.

Dayna doesn't bat an eyelid to it either. She kisses him once, and they're married, lol.
Avon: "Not enough! Not nearly enough! Dammit, what weighs seventy kilos?"
Orac: "Vila weighs seventy-three kilos, Avon."
Avon: "Vila, are you here? I need your help."

And of course, Dayna just goes with it. Its Avon after all.

I like how you don't necessarily know Tarrant is to be a key character at the beginning.

I wish I could remember how I greeted his appearance back in 1980 when it first screened in Australia. I know I loved this series and long considered it my favourite.

Here Tarrant is mean, arrogant, scheming...I think he should have stayed this way until trying to make him a pretty boy love interest.

I like the bickering throughout series 3 - although I once worked in an office with a very similar dynamic and it wasn't funny at all.

That got SO tedious, and by the time Zeeona comes along (geniune love, I believe) he'd already been snogging nearly every female that hadn't been snogged by Avon (and one that had...)
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

She's very cool for someone who's just lost her family. But, then, she always was bright.

Probably thinks that's how it works. She's had a sheltered childhood,
You're not sulking, I hope?

Maybe, in her innocence, she actually thinks so?

That's one way to look at this series.

This is a bad Vila episode, though. He's cowardly and gullible here.

I think Vila sometimes does the talk (not just to himself) because it's a form of bluff and distraction.

Hi Mrs B! Shocking that you don't have the vaccine yet, especially with the Olympics on, but glad you have Avon Smile Try to keep social distancing though Wink
