Rewatch Australia - B11 Gambit Sat 3rd July

The "cities" in B7 are either very small or very large. They encompass entire planets. I always find it difficult to work out how the cities are the size of continents and the continents are the size of planets. I know it's sci-fi but I still have difficulty getting my head around it.

Space tramps! Ten credit touches! Or sluts!!
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

Yes, there are quite a few opportunities later on when it would have been useful.

Of course, the real Orac did get smaller and lighter.

I didn't notice that! When did they change him/it?

He does change. Keep an eye on him.

Will do!

Another fun thing in this ep is Servie taking off her shoes and sitting around in her red Wolfords.

I think it reflect the planetary conditions: if you can't live outside, you have to build a dome of some sort (terraforming is so expensive) so the dome= the city = the planet. Or by this time, maybe people are so used to living in domes they build them just for the convenience?

To me it looks like a pinky orange on closer inspection.

It's really just a bit of fictional conceit and convenience, sadly.

You see, I think Travis is going 'outside' to where the planet hoppers are parked, but that's just outside the one bar on the planet/city and Krantor's nightclub is the only one. There's no sense that there are other 'cities'/domes.

"It has developed a mechaniocal fault," - do you think I could get away with using this as an excuse when I'm losing at board games with my cadets?
