It was lovely to see you all. I'm very glad I made the rewatch. I had my second Covid jab at half nine, so I'm feeling good that I've tried my best to get protected. I've got a busy day today, as I'm expecting to feel the standard fatique symptoms by tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good weekend. I hope your Laseron destroyer works out well, Obsidian. And I hope you fully recover from Covid quickly, Meegat!

Bye ClareGC. So glad you made it. All the best for jab recovery. See you next time.

Great to see everybody. Hope the jab doesn't affect you too much, Clare. And hope you and your family will be quite well by next week, Meegat.

Yes, the Mt. Nebo (metathesising the v/ b ) being how most people would know the name. Interesting choice of name. Something to explain when young Nevo grows up a bit.

And the mountain. My nephew wanted to have something in the name relating to nature and heritage - Mt Nevo is where Moses ascended to look over the Holy Land.
Problem is, having used this name for Son No. 1, he's stumped for ideas for Son No. 2, due in August.
I suggested 'Avon' - as well as the sci fi connection, it's a river, and connected with Shakespeare. But it doesn't work in Hebrew (means 'sin' or 'iniquity' ! )

Shock the relatives...

The only sensible bit of this whole thing was Servalan getting rid of people who opposed her.
Presumably she was behind Travis dressed up like that, too. She likes a good laugh.

Yes - whole purpose of exercise, as far as she is concerned. And I suspect she feels that Travis needs something to keep him occupied.

I always see her endless manipulations as being at the core of the show because of how they're carried through even once Travis is gone. It's what flips Avon in the end.

As it flipped Blake before him. Servalan's one of the great TV villains.

Thanks for all your good wishes! Have a great weekend. I hope your symptoms are minimal Clare
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

Great to see everybody today!
Good luck and stay well xx
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

It means 'river' in Welsh, doesn't it? That's why there are so many River Avons.

Ach, sorry - my reply got into the wrong place. Just saying that Avon comes from the Welsh word for river, I think.
