Um... possibly? I知 not very good with audio. I zone out.

It's one of the very darkest and best Liberator Chronicles, by James Goss (who wrote 'Three' ).

I知 not sure I知 in the mood for dark, but I will check, at some point!

My mistake: Liberator Chronicles 3 is now on my list as well!
You're not sulking, I hope?

Ooh, the Armageddon Storm! That won awards, you know.
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

Yeah, only listen to it if you're in the right frame of mind.

OK, stop it now. Although I do have some cash saved up for 'Forever Avon' that I'm not likely to use this summer....

It's about 9pm (BST) and we've forgotten Pratchett again, so is it time to let Magnus out, and Travisina to bed?
You're not sulking, I hope?

So, is there any more to say about Feet of Clay? I think this is one of Pratchett's best (do I say that every time?) - I have a particular fondness for Vimes and the City Watch, and this really was Vimes at the top of his game. Add believable, sympathetic characters, humour, philosophy and a well crafted plot - perfect.

I've just done a summing up of Pratchett, but I think it's time to call this a night.

What shall we read next?

Yes please!
StormyP is dealing with Magnus' P at the moment (see what I did there?), so if you choose a Witches book, we can check back with her if she's got it.

I was hoping you could remember one....(can't remember what we've done either. Nip back to 'home' page.... )
Lords and Ladies is quite dark - but are we up to it?

It was fun - thanks for your company, too!

M...Virn can choose the next Witchy book, and I'll suggest a date. Need to hang up the washing now...

I'm okay with dark - but maybe there's a lighter alternative if Stormy prefers?
