Thanks all again for another great rewatch. I still marvel how I never get tired of these. Must be your scintillating company! Grin

Meegat, so lovely to have your company as always. Sharing ogles...

Never tire either. Always something new from others' eyes.

GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

Interesting point! I wonder if Zeeona would be the ruler after her dad died. (If so, I don't think she would've lived long...)

Well since it seems to be a dictatorship so itís probably reasonable to assume that she was next in line. But maybe that left complications because if she was the ruler of Betafal she probably couldnít have married Tarrant........

Avon might have forced him to. It might have made them safer, being in charge of the leading aggressor outside the Federation, also with the raw materials to make the Pylene 50 antidote.

Folks, I'm about the start the thread for next week's final ep.

So...
1. Would you like to start again from the beginning?
2. If so, I'd like to suggest Saturday 2nd January for The Way Back, which is the actual anniversary date of its first transmission.
3. If you agree, how shall we fill the intervening Saturdays in December - or are people too busy with Xmas / Tyce-con / New Year?

As we are all in lockdown - at least in the UK and doing most of our shopping online. When the lockdown is released in Bristol at least, we will be straight into tier 3 - I am in favour of continuing the rewatches. Maybe choose a few favourites from season 2 or 3?

2 Jan for The Way Back sounds good. We could maybe watch some bloopers?

Bloopers, the Wimpy commercial (that'd be a short rewatch), B7 Junction...

Well now that you mention Avon iím thinking that if Zeena was the leader of a dictatorship Avon would have pushed Tarrant out an airlock when Zeeona wasnít looking and then tried to hook up with Zeeona. LOL

How about the Strangerers or some other PD classic?

They sound good. Have just finished watching my way through the revamped Mythmakers. Enjoyed them a lot too. The there's my favourite ad, replayed often just so i can hear the man's voice - the Hamlet cigar ad. Hmm. what else?

Love The Strangerers. Trying to wangle a rare old piece from the maker. Just watched Virgin of the Secret Service 'The Pyramid Plot' this arvo. A classic! Paul as an Egyptian. Love it!

The two episodes of Whodunnit with Paul playing the detective?

The Legend of Robin Hood, with Avon and Ford Prefect in barrels?

The ropey Youtube Guards, Guards video?

Those barrels, huh? How skinny was David Dixon? Course I always laugh because some of us used to get around in a Ford Prefect..

I didn't even notice Paul's chest hair tonight.

Hmm, Paul's appearance on The Adventure Game?

First clocked Paul (though I didn't know it was him at the time you understand) as the Sheriff. I just thought he was an amazing actor. Wasn't looking at his chest hair. Took me ages to work out that the Sheriff dude and Avon were one and the same but did go through some massive life changes in between the shows being aired. Think we might have to have The Legend of RH.
