This is better from the off - a finale that involves the whole cast! |

Although odd they run out of money but made two endings... It doesn't mention where Doug found the money from, but my script book says that Doug Naylor and Ed Bye played the episode to a test audience, and to their children, and they all hated the cliffhanger ending that seemed to kill Rimmer. So they reshot it. Avon: "Not enough! Not nearly enough! Dammit, what weighs seventy kilos?"
Orac: "Vila weighs seventy-three kilos, Avon." Avon: "Vila, are you here? I need your help." |

So they reshot it. Yeah, but they could have just added him kicking Death in the bollocks, they didn't need to change the rest of it as well and not have Lister at all in the last 7 or 8 minutes ![]() |

I love the fact Lister is still trying to wind up Rimmer all these years later, but Rimmer has now cottoned on, but Lister does it anyway! |

It does look different. I'm happy that Kryten got to take a holiday and went travelling. Though sad that his imagination only stretches as far as a broom cupboard. The sneezing-on-the-ironing scene is disgusting! LOL Avon: "Not enough! Not nearly enough! Dammit, what weighs seventy kilos?"

Lots of pathos in here. Lister is older and he's lost Kochanski. |
