My views are my own VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion. AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating. |

The Bengals have orange and black stripes on their helmets. Really!
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.

I had no idea! It's a bit of an obscure reference for us non-sporty Brits! Twitter: @TravisinaB7

In this series, the characters have started to become more like caricatures. I used to feel a lot of sympathy and empathy with Rimmer, but he's now much less of a real person. |

Yeah. My fave ep (which I missed the rewatch of) is 'Thanks for the Memory' - such a clever mix of SF, humour and pathos. And all the characters are sympathetic. Twitter: @TravisinaB7

There's a lot of retconning in this series - since when did Red Dwarf have over 1000 people on it? Lister was ranked 169 out of 169. |

No script supervisor looking after continuity? Didn't need to be - same writers on every episode. The continuity is superb in the first two series - but Grant Naylor decided to throw it out of the window after they were struggling to write the Season Three opener. So they change stuff when they chose - last week, they changed the details of the Lister/Kochanski relationship - i.e. they now have one! |
