I'm completely new to the world of trading cards, can anyone tell me what exactly you get in the series 1 & series 2 box sets of blakes 7 cards from unstoppable ?
how many cards are actually in a box ?

GoldChannel
I think you get a 'standard set' (don't know how many though) and mixed in at random are things like autograph cards and sketch cards?

don't quote me on that though *lol

(I like the look of some of the auto cards and am keeping my eye on eBay to pick up some individual ones)

In each box, you get at least one complete set of base cards. These are the episode cards, two per episode, with a picture from the ep on the front and episode synopsis on the reverse. In addition, there is a random selection of 'collectibles' - foil cards, autograph cards, art cards etc. You do get lots of spare base cards, the idea being to swap these in order to build up additional complete sets.

Series 1 (the 'blue set') covers B7 Seasons A & B. Series 2 (the 'green set') covers Seasons C & D.

More information about the cards can be found here:

so does that mean that, for example, in the series one box-set u get at least 52 cards ?, 2 per episode ?
& the same for each series box-set thereafter ?, 52 cards in each?

Yes, indeed. Each box actually contains 24 packs of 5 cards = 120 cards. You are guaranteed to get a full set of 52 episode cards (2 cards per episode). You also get lots of spares - in fact we ended up with a second complete set of episode cards in our first box, but that was just a lucky chance. In addition to the episode cards, there are also a number of 'added value' cards - autographs, foil cards, sketches etc - but these are a random selection. No guarantee of what you might get, but that's the fun of trading cards!
