What makes u laugh?
rojkerr1
In these hard times its important to have a go-to moment or image that always makes u smile. Whats yours?
Two for me especially, Herbert Lom in Revenge of the Pink panther, trying not to lose it doing Clouseaus funeral speech
and Monty Pythons fish slapping sketch!

Tony Hancock and Sid James together especially the one where they get back from a fortnight's holiday only to find that Sid failed to stop the milk & the bread deliveries...or when they each thought the other was a would be murderer...or when they both tried to make people believe that Byron had lived in their house....
And what about Eric & Ernie with Andrew Preview?

Dear RJ..I have just spent the last few minutes watching YOUtube for Pink Panther out-takes...GrinGrin

There are so many things from years ago that I can still laugh at. Yes OSP, I still laugh my head off at Eric and Ernie and Mr Preview.
And Tony Hancock in the Blood Donor..
... I must get my thinking cap on
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

Ignoring Sir Les Patterson's classic answer to that question - "Other people's misfortunes, mainly..." - here are a few things that immediately spring to mind.

- Mandatory Red Dwarf episode: 'Gunmen of the Apocalypse'
- Mandatory Fawlty Towers episode: 'Waldorf Salad'
- Rutland Weekend Television: 'Old Grey Whistle Test' sketch
- Mandatory inclusion of 'This is Spinal Tap'
- The first 20-30 minutes of 'Stir Crazy' (then it goes off the boil)

I much preferred 'Grail' to 'Brian'. Never really 'got' The Young Ones, but I know I'm in a minority there. Book: Alexei Sayle's 'Train to Hell' (though I haven't read it for years).

As it's a bit obscure, here's the link to the RWT OGWT sketch (it's up first and then returns later):

https://www.youtu...VaIb6ZuaAw

Tyce, of course, was a regular on the second series of RWT. (Think I also spotted her in the video for Stealer's Wheel's 'Stuck in the Middle with You' when it popped up on the 'Now 70s' channel at the weekend.)

I loved that film! It was one of two where I literally fell off my cinema seat laughing (the other being 'Life of Brian' )

I've remembered more things:

Radio:
I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue - I was listening to it on the car radio one evening driving home from work, and had to pull over on to the M25 hard shoulder, because the tears of laughter were making it impossible to drive!

Movie:
Young Frankenstein
