Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

Oh, theyíre good, Annie. And no need to attach a name to any of them, I knew who was who.

Yes, Anniew, but I meant the one with the four possible meanings- there was a question mark about the fourth possible meaning Smile

Mrs_Underhill
Joe Dredd, that was fun!
I got stuck on some and peeked into others' answers, and also needed your hints for Donkey Donkey In and the cricket, but here's what I got on my own:

0. Assassin
1. Redemption
2. Draw a blank on this one for some reason but it was so obvious!
3. The Keeper
4. Project Avalon
5. Duel (And I just got this one! Deathwatch . Also Sand and Rumours of Death. )
6. I got stuck on Disco Dad image here and thought it was Aftermath. Grin
7. Was baffled by this one and yet again, it was so obvious. But I thought about Time Squad because of the composition of the picture. Smile

GanMiniMe - aww, lovely! Maybe Gan trying to complete the bake-off technical challenge, hence the gingham apron. Smile

Anniew - that was beautiful and so moving. Thank you.

So glad you all like the prose poms!

Ganminime. I should have made it clear that my comment about no. 4 in Joeís challenge was directed towards Little Sue!

Personally, I blame Joe Dredd's lamentable drawing skills! He's the biggest turkey around this Christmas! ; D

Anniew I really like the poems & get most of them but feel that one or two of them could equally refer to a few of the crew members (I'm probably just being a bit slow this morning!) so would you mind saying which is which just for curiosity's sake?

Me too! I think I know whose is whose but a couple Iím not certain about and would like to know if Iím right. Itís not a criticism at all- the fact that a couple arenít obvious and take a bit of thought adds to the pleasure of reading and exploring your work.

Joe Dredd
Beautifully written and so evocative, Annie! I love the rhythm & near-rhyme of 'winter sun' and 'caught on your tongue', and the 'glowing orange', and 'silk of space', and much more besides.

Though I do hear Santa is looking everywhere for Rudolph. Has anyone seen him?

Oh deer.

Anniew
Ah Joe . Rudolph. That did make me laugh. Iím so glad you the rhythm worked for you. I struggled with it a bit. The end result is never as good as the poem you imagined!

I hope you won't sell yourself too short, Annie. It's beautiful. Lovely phrasing and word pictures, perfect choice of words, evocative etc. I'll shut up now, before I start sounding like one of those wine connoisseurs - "You can taste the blackberry notes and hint of smoke."

And I'm not just saying that because you kindly signed up for an extra spot on the calendar. (Thank you very much!)

Let's have a guess! Okay, my thoughts:

There are six entries, and as there were only five human(oid) crew members in S3, S4 and the latter half of S2, it either represents the S1 crew with Gan at a single point in time, or different crew members at different points of time.

Hunting deer - Dayna? If S1/early S2 only, then perhaps Blake - hunting on Exbar, the "I think ... yes, I think ... I think I remember" referring to the memory blocks?

Ribbons, another day alone - Avon thinking of Anna?

The dark silk of space - this sounds more like Jenna than Tarrant.

Lifting our spirits with spirits - Vila.

Singing, cooking, slapping dough into shape - Dayna (who we know can sing) thinking of her dear departed dad? (Perhaps her dad can't carry a tune, which is funny considering he was played by Cy Grant!) That said, the very physical cooking activities makes me think of Gan, so perhaps Gan remembering his wife? (Who I now realise must be Olga Gan!)

I feel their memories but do not understand - I thought this was going to be Zen but of course it's obviously Cally.

What does everyone else see within the words?

GanMiniMe
I thought: Blake, Avon, Jenna, Vila, Gan and Cally

Trevor Travis... Are you all right, sweetheart?

Lol, that was huge fun to read. I suspect it was also huge fun to imagine and write, too... an interesting glimpse into your psyche!! Another one I would love to see illustrated!!

TT-GrinGrinGrin

Having seen some of your previous efforts, mind, I canít say I entirely blame Blake...
