Littlesue, between your writing and Lurenaís pictures youíve probably saved me a fortune with your tales of the amusement park. Next time the fairís in town Iíll be too afraid to go!

And lovely pic of you and Mr D, too.

Personally, I blame Purple Cleric for the Amusement park tale...it started as a prompt with our heroes finding an old disused fairground and taking a ride on the Dodgems (way back when that tale is) and then it grew from there as Lurena asked...'What other rides are there?' or words to that effect.
And the answer was...when Vila found the ON button!!!

Yes, it was at Bournemouth and I met Silver Aluant and we were both scheming to distract Maureen so that we could bundle Mr D out of the fire exit into a waiting car and roar off...it didn't work!!!!

Littlesue, Lurena - sinister and mysterious tale, but a lovely picture of Avon. So this park has avatars of our heroes which are not just made in their image but also have their thoughts. Intriguing!

Mrs Underhill, Space Command does indeed look tasty. But Iím glad Servalan and Travis escaped. I donít know that bringing down the Federation is worth the re-introduction of cannibalism!

On another note- was that a vegetable Liberator? Really?

The whole saga started with an innocent ride on the Dodgems...and then went from there. It carried on into a much longer story called All the Fun of the Fair which can be found on Lara and Sue's stories. The link is in my signature, as well as Lurena's. In this story, our heroes decide to investigate the Park more thoroughly and come across The Ghost Train, where they meet the ever present Ringmaster and discover the true nature of this Park from Hell...which is why the Entity that runs it knows about our heroes; their thoughts and their fears....

Travisina - fiendish wordsearch puzzles - love them. Still scratching my head over a couple... Smile

Moon Disk
Lurena - Christmas captions - hilarious - 'single bells' lol!

Moon Disk
BradPaula - I think your versions are better - and very singable Grin

One Spare Part
Mrs U I had to look not once, not twice but several times at your veg Liberator. Amazing! Could make Christmas Day very interesting...
"We're in the centre of a mystical convergence here."

littlesue - great story, enjoyed that Smile And loved your photo too - I remember Bournemouth very fondly...

Mrs_Underhill - lol! An attack on a defenceless pastry - it's enough to make you go off B7.

And I'm very impressed you made that. Wow, and looks tasty too Grin )

Mrs_Underhill
Thank you for kind words about B7 pastry! Grin But just to avoid the confusion: Vegetator was created by comarum, it's explained in the linked Tumblr post but I added the explanation to the entry too. After SC HQ explosion was posted she wished to see Vegetator actual attack and so it was done. Smile

Travisina. Iím saving your word search until I take Tom to hospital to check his scratched cornea is healing! Bound to be waiting around.

Little Sue: Iím so glad youíve posted the entire fic on your website, I need to read it from the beginning to get maximum enjoyment. And you and Mr D. Such a lovely photo.

Lurena: still stuck on your slide puzzle but Iíll keep trying. Your Avon pic is lovely.

Mrs U... oh I loved your donut and your Travis and Servalan are brill.

Mistletoe. Trivial pursuits. Yay. And that happy feeling when you knew the answer to a question.... Happy Christmas to you too.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

Mistletoe, I remember the year my dad brought home the computer version of Trivial Pursuit. The quizmaster was an animated turkey who made Avon look like an amateur at sarcastic put-downs... we all refused to play after a while! If only there'd been easy questions like yours...

Hi Anniew, only the long All the Fun of the fair is on our website; the original story that started it was A Ticket to Ride, and that was a monthly prompt in either 2015 or 2016. I've just found it on my hard drive. The other shorter ones are on the Monthly prompts so I'll try and bundle them together.

Paula - GrinGrinGrin Thanks for the funny new lyrics. While I am somewhat familiar with Let it Snow, I'll have to hunt down the tunes to the other Christmas songs to really appreciate your effort. But as today was my final day at work for this year, I'll have plenty of time in the next days! I love our cross-cultural community!

Littlesue & Lara - A most fascinating and slightly surreal read! (Did I ever mention that I love the surrealists? Well, I think I always do at a Sarcophagus or Dawn rewatch.) I have a dim memory of the dodgems story that started it all but I have to read the rest of the saga. Yup, another one for my to-do list for the holidays ...

Mrs. Underhill - Brilliant. Just brilliant. Hooray for the B(l)ake Off!

Mistletoe - Thank you, that brought back memories of glorious days of yore, playing TP with friends in the 80s. Interesting that there actually was a B7 question! Of course, that was missing from the German edition (as well as you didn't have any questions about who the cleverest of the Mainzelmšnnchen(*) was or what the real name of Gottlieb Wendehals(**) was).

Huggy, I've managed to find all the Fun of the Fair ficlets. The first one was called Ticket to ride and then the very long one that is on Lara and Sue's stories on Lurena's signature and mine as well. (See below!). A link to the Ticket to Ride is on that Story as well. Hopefully, over Xmas I can convert all the stories to PDFs and put them on my bookshelf. All the Fun of the Fair is there already and can be downloaded. I shall add the other slightly shorter ones to that and make a separate folder.
At least it will keep me out of mischief.............

Little Sue. Thatís excellent. I shall treat myself to a read in those post prandial Christmas moments.

Hugbot. Awww poor Avon, stranded at Christmas with only a tree for company. Itís not often Vila gets one over him. I hope he relents and goes back for Avon, though heíll never let him forget that he lost his bracelet! Or perhaps the Christmas Elf stole it to teach him humility and that he needs his friends. An altogether delightful addition to the series.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.
