Rewatch Australia A1: The Way Back - Saturday 2nd Nov

Shout out to the designers on this ep - I love the colour coded outfits (maroon for lawyers, green for whatever Blake is - engineer?) - the stark white scenery. Pure dystopian drama.

Michael E Briant's direction of this is truly stunning.

Not aware of a ban. It was never banned over here, although the heavily edited original videos did cut out the whole child molesting bit.
So how did they get him tried/sentenced/sent to Cygnus?
The implication is for his past crimes, I think.
Love the judgement machine.

But the places where ep1 was banned just jumped straight in. Will have to check over where I read all this.

I think it must around 1992 since I last saw the edited video. It's around two hours long - with around 15 minutes from the Way Back, 45 from Space Fall, 30 from Cygnus Alpha and 30 from Time Squad.

Gosh, that sounds like a right mess.

The grey concrete and metal panelling is really dire.

Voice From The Past completely messes up the continuity of this sense. Ven Glynd is not the judge Wink

To maintain a conspiracy, you have as few involved in it as possible. What's scary here is how many people are in on the conspiracy...

It does its job, though. It's supposed to be grey and a bit lifeless. When we see inside the apartment belonging to Tel and maja Varon, it looks far less functional.

Oh yes. It's doing its job perfectly! It's a grey world. None of the colours we see (except the judgement machine) is really vibrant. They're what I, as a kid, had already identified as 'institutional' colours. Note that now many new houses are grey, at least they are in this country. Woeful!

If even the lowly security guy is in on the conspiracy, then the future is stuffed.
