This thread is meant to be a little tongue in cheek.. What sort of songs do you associate with various Blake's 7 episodes? It can either relate to the plot or just something that comes to mind. Not to be taken seriously etc.. If you think you can improve on some of my suggestions do go ahead Smile

For a start;

DUEL - Two Tribes - Frankie goes to Hollywood
PROJECT AVALON - Avalon - Roxy Music

VOICE FROM THE PAST - I'm going slightly mad - Queen

SARCOPHAGUS - Can't Get you out of my head - Kylie Minogue
DEATHWATCH - Another one bites the dust - Queen

STARDRIVE - Bat out of Hell - Meat Loaf
HEADHUNTER - Don't lose your head - Queen
GOLD - Gold Spandau Ballet
SAND - I'll do anything for love, but I wont do that - Meat Loaf
Behold your God, Neil!!

BLAKE - Always Look On the Bright Side Of Life - Monty Python

and

ANIMALS - Anything by the Muppets

Warning, the video for Front 242's "Headhunter" is slightly NSFW if anyone looks it up to listen to it (very brief nudity)
Everything else that had a video I think is safe.

Here's a couple more:

Star One - 'Invaders Must Die' by The Prodigy.
Harvest of Kairos - 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' by Brittany Spears (for the Servalan/Jarvik elements).

For the episode "Blake" - "Obsession" by, I think, Animotion. It's an old 80's song, and if I remember it correctly, some of the words are going to be, um, inappropriate. But the tone of the song fits for me, with Avon's feelings about Blake.

Think of it as evolution in action.

Here are my thoughts on some songs for the character relationships in the series Smile

Blake / Avon - "It's a Sin" by the Pet Shop Boys
Avon / Vila - "All I Need Is A Miracle" by Mike and the Mechanics
Avon / Cally - "In Too Deep" by Genesis
Avon / Servalan - "Invisible Touch" by Genesis
Vila / Gan - "You're My Best Friend" by Queen

For the Gambit episode, Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money) - Pet Shop Boys.
And maybe as a theme for the characters, either Voodoo Chile - Jimi Hendrix, or Long Cool Woman - The Hollies for Servalan.
Think of it as evolution in action.
