Yes, you are and you should be. Well done you Smile

Aw, thank you so much!
I was really thrilled by the first release date on November 16, a true birthday present!

I hope many many copies will be sold; that would be such a wonderful tribute to Mr Darrow.
Thanks again to the editing team Jackie and Annie, and of course Oliver Dallas who made it all possible!

To all fans:
If you haven't bought it yet, do it! It is a must have for every fan.
(and don't forget the charity for the World Wildlife Fund)
Lara&Sue's Blake's 7 stories and *my PD as Kerr Avon Tribute*

My copy of Forever Avon now joins all the other publications I have been associated with over the years...starting with All Our Tomorrows from 1983

Now to get a cup of tea and a tube of Pringles to have a quiet read......
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.

My copy arrived on monday after all - yay! Blasted through it in a day and I was a mite worried that my own contribution - Ashes to Ashes - would be a bit weak in omparison with others, but they're all pretty solid stories. It's well worth getting for the fiction, even more so as it helps a charity.
"Seldon, Janov. Space Commander. Alpha 14922. Name, rank and serial number. That's all you're getting!"

My copy's arrived, and it looks amazing! I've only read the first two stories so far, which are just WOW! It may be a while before I finish it, as I'll be savouring every one.
Avon: "Not enough! Not nearly enough! Dammit, what weighs seventy kilos?"
Orac: "Vila weighs seventy-three kilos, Avon."
Avon: "Vila, are you here? I need your help."

My copy has arrived. I have read Stephen Greif's touching introduction and Annie's heartfelt poem so far...the scene is set...
"We're in the centre of a mystical convergence here."

I really have to take my hat off to Oliver, Annie and Jackie for putting together this collection of stories. Thank you. The only disappointment that I had was that the book came to an end. I was so disappointed that I've had to start reading all over again. I can't remember the last time I did that with a book!

If you haven't ordered a copy, go treat yourself. You won't regret it.

I've found it rather fun to just dip into over the last few weeks.

That's a good recommendation, LSR! Any stories you particularly liked/recommend?

I should confess that I do have an entry in the anthology so you can feel free to take my enthusiasm with a grain of salt but that's a tough ask as I genuinely enjoyed all the stories from the other contributors. You would have to threaten me with a visit from Shrinker to make a selection!

Fiona
hi all, Belated Happy New year...hope you are enjoying the book..is it still available? A search on Lulu says, no results, but link from here seems ok...

My own particular favourites are "Cygnus Alpha - A Treasure to Hold" as it was short and sweet, and "The Sound of his Voice"

They're all good.

Being the author and illustrator of "Cygnus Alpha - A Treasure to Hold" and the illustrator of Annie's wonderful story "The Sound of his Voice" I want to thank you so much Lee Bagnall!
It means a lot to me *blush*

And, yes, they're ALL GOOD.
