Avon and Vila got lucky.
In Season 4 Vila would've been killed I'm sure.

Yep.

"play Vila" - yes Avon is a gambler addict.
I remember TT(?) asking what Avon would have done if Vila lost and got killed. It would very likely mean the end to Avon too - he wouldn't be able to go back to Libbie like that, he's marked in Freedom city, no money, a high-profile fugitive - his days would be numbered.

Could he have thrown his lot in with Servalan? WOULD he have?

He knew he'd be dead in a week - days numbered either way.

Not at this stage, I donít think. Later, maybe.

Never. See Aftermath.

One of the successful funny endings.

T'was a lovely rewatch, thanks all Grin
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

So, did Blake notice the expanding Orac? Or was he too excited about Goth to notice?

Great fun, thank you for watching with me! Smile

This is quite possibly the weirdest B7 episode I have seen (Sarcophagus is a close second). It's not bad if you're on adrenaline and soma, but how did they come up with this??

Avon and Vila are crap at playing innocent. I think Blake suspected something was up but decided he didn't want to know the details.

Okay, Iíll amend that. He might have thought about it. Or appeared to do so to buy time.
I canít really see him actually doing it.

Robert Holmes has a very quirky (and campy) mind. Smile Thinking of Egrorian and Pinder - now that was a hoot... Cool

TT said in his intro that Blake not killing Travis here nearly led to an alien invasion. But also it would have meant - possibly - that Blake's plan to destroy Star One would have succeeded. Making him responsible for the deaths of millions, if not billions of people on controlled planets.
