Rewatch Australia C13: Terminal Saturday 15th June

Sadly, it couldn't be more blatant that THIS IS A TRAP and yet Avon continues to walk straight into it. It suggests Servie has a psychological profile on Avon and knows exactly how to lure him in.

It's a great episode, but such a sad one as well. Endings are always sad.

Ze Klute needs a shave.

I like the plastic people moulds in the back.

Aw, they were acting so together in "Moloch" and "Death-Watch". I think their relationship has taken the wrong turn again.

"Sentiment breeds weakness."
Ouch.

I'm thinking Cally criticised the size of his Sopron Rock.

Love the way Paul pauses to say "Blake".

Vila being clever.
Or rather, he's stopped pretending to be stupid.

On some level I thought this day would never come, yet I feared it.
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

Poor Vila is trying his very best.

Vila is smart in this episode. He does his best to try to get Zen to save the Libby.

He has the same survival instincts as Avon, but without the ego or the same degree of ruthlessness.

I know it's silly, but I wish I'd known Paul was ill, to have some mental preparation, as we had with Gareth. But I'd only been chatting to Purplecleric on 2nd June, and she told me how much he was looking forward to seeing everyone at Maximum Power.

It's almost like Servie has a puppeteer pulling Avon's strings in this episode.

It's not silly, it was a shock for all of us. I don't suppose anyone knows what the illness was?

Blake needs a shave as well as Ze Klute.

This scene takes me back to Pyrton Village Hall in 2011, and being a prop hand to Gareth and Michael (doing his finest Avon).

It's difficult to know how much of this Avon actually experienced physically and how much is in his mind

OMGosh, yes I can understand that would have been a shock. I confess I had a heap of questions about what happened but I haven't like to ask, but in the end it's academic, slow or sudden it's still horrible.
