Servie spent months recreating Blake... so much effort, so much expense - just to get her hands on Libby? Really?

Unless she's lying. She seems to do that a LOT in this episode.

Vila being super-clever, saving Orac. Then again, he'll probably regret that in 'Orbit'.

I love how no one notices Libby is being destroyed. Do they just think all that gunk is decoration?

Jacs almost seems to be in tears - she doesn't want it to end either.

Is that little sub-sub-sub plot really necessary? Especially as we've already met Future-Man in Moloch?

My point being - Zen's dead, the Libby blows up - do we really care about evolution of mankind?

Is this the only time we see someone teleport themself off the Liberator?
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.

True. At that point it's kind of superfluous.

Vila is the only one who looks Avon in the eye in that last sequence. The others look at him and get no response (or the angle is wrong).

Vila 'gets' Avon more than anyone else. And I think vice versa.

I guess you'd only do it in drastic circumstances.

I have to say I think Blake was a better ending, though it was way sadder. It just feels very unresolved as an ending.

Yes, at that point, it's difficult to register anything other than what's happened to Zen and the Libby.

Can you imagine the fanfic if this had been the last ep?
Cally still alive, Blake maybe likewise (assuming Servie is lying). No Scorpio, Slave or Xenon.
Hmmm...

"Terminal" seems just a pause in the story. "Blake" is the full stop.

:-(

A wine I think.

Thanks everyone for your company. I guess we're taking a break for the convention weekend?

How is it even technically possible? Oh never mind. Power surge, or whatever she tells Tarrant in 'Sand'

Again, she's lying. The teleport controls are set on Terminal. She just ends up someone else on the planet, and then takes off in her other ship (the non-booby trapped one).

It's a very good point, yet it was intended to be. I guess whilst leaving it open for a continuation...

Yes, okay.

Tyce, if that's alright with you, I'll start the thread for Rescue on 29th June.
