Again, suppose the Control was there. What was Blake going to do with it? Shoot at it with their guns? How did he plan to get out, without the bracelets? Surely the way out would be blocked by now.

He went on a suicide mission and everybody just followed him.

He was planning on Control having a big red button...

Or going hulk-smash on it? He had a lot of pent-up energy, true.

Thank you all for the company! Good night! Oops

That's where Gan would have come in handy.

I picture a large lever protruding from the wall with a sign that says, Do Not Pull Lever Or You Will Destroy The Federation.

Yes, why doesn't Blake demand she comes up? After all, they have a spare teleport bracelet.

She might prefer to take her chances in the Forbidden Zone, Blake having just given a magnificent display of reasons not to follow him!

Good point! So even the most dangerous place in the world is safer than teleporting up with Blake Grin

Blake would try to push it instead.

I've always liked this episode, of course, not including Gan's demise- but it was fun seeing Servie and Travis brawling, Blake being an idiot, and seeing a place I've visited before, Abingdon. See you all next week for another exciting episode of Terry Nation's Blake's 7. 'Night.

Sorry as ever to miss this rewatch, but I've enjoyed reading all your comments.

I'll be missing next week's rewatch as well - it's Book Club, at which we're discussing Agatha Christie. We've all read different book/s by the most prolific of crime fiction writers, and I'm looking forward to the discussion. But sorry to miss Trial, and Travis Greatest Moments.
