CYGNUS ALPHA LONDON

Oh Ian. Bitterly disappointed to have missed the last ever. But please, could some of your exciting events include An Afternoon with or An Evening with ( even Breakfast with) ... and feature guest or series stars from Blakes 7. Tom Chadborn...Glynis...Steven Pacey....David Collins... Michael Bryant ...etc.

Hi Anniew

I'm sure that there maybe some sort of 'cross over' at our future events.

Sorry you missed it.

Cygnus Alpha LONDON will be our last Blakeís 7 event.

That's sad, I had vowed to go to the next one, you should have mentioned before it was the last ever! Slightly confused as to how you won't be doing anymore B7 events when you are named after something in B7!?

Hi Teale_Avon.

I named the company Cygnus Alpha after the name of the episode. Many companies/organisations take inspiration from many things to get their name and this is what I did. Hope this clears up any confusion.

It was great visiting Cygnus Alpha London and meeting friends old and new! Thank you Ian for making this happen, and I hope it won't be the last B7 event for me.

Shivan met Brian Croucher and got him totally bewildered! After Shivan asked him who he is and why does he look familiar Brian replied "I'm Prince Charles". Smile

We had a great chat with Brian later at the autographs line, and it was a highlight of the event to listen to Brian and Michael live commentary to "Hostage"! I wish it was recorded with subtitles as I had to ask my friend to translate some of it for me.

Also was great to see MrEModels in person (he was under Federation Trooper disguise at Maximum Power) and help record the podcast about the event, which I'm awaiting eagerly. Smile

Pub evenings before and after the event spent chatting with friends about B7 were heavenly!

Here's some of my haul:

And here're some more photos - wish I filmed more but my phone refused to charge via adapter. (Please let me know if someone wishes to take some of those photos down)

Great photos, Mrs_Underhill! That tiny toolbox is genuinely part of my cycle toolkit- it obviously survived the journey from Northumberland to London in better condition than I didShock

If only Iíd realised in time that Iíd actually fractured my kneecap, maybe I could have had my cast signed... by the cast...

I'll agree with all the above - fab event! For those who didn't go, and for those that did, there's an album of photos, plus a wee bit of the live audio commentary, over on the podcasts FB page:

It's great to see all the photos, thank you!
And thank you for recording that bit with Brian. I wish it had subtitles . Smile

But then you might have had a temptation to keep that cast on forever. Smile
Wishing you a speedy recovery! Amazing how much distance you were able to cover on foot with fractured knee though.

Thank you Supreme Commander for giving us a lift that day!

That photo of you as Shivan! With Brian Croucher! I thought it was a hoot the 1st time you Shivan'd but this...this is beyond hootiness. What a brilliant laugh I had at that. BC 's reply was priceless. I would frame that photo of the 3 of you. It is fabulous...a cure for sadness ! Sad

Moon Disk, here's much better Blake the Bear photo, and more photos at this account (it's Floppy Lion - hello if you are reading Horizon! Was nice meeting you and chatting at the cafeteria! Smile)

Thank you!!! Smile

It was a great listen - the 1st part about Gan was really thought-provoking and made a lot of valid points.

The part about CA London was a delight - you recorded so many guest interviews, it was very interesting.

If you want to know Jonathan Wright-Miller's answer to a question (which was kindly asked on my behalf) "Whose idea it was for Blake and Vila to take their shirts off in Horizon" - have a listen. Smile

I also chat in the end about Shivan and answer 5 questions about Blake's 7, and TT makes a cameo.

I loved looking at your pictures Mrs Underhill. I had a really nice time at the aftermath of this convention with you and the others. Looking forward to the next get together of us fans.
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldnít have been made if we hadnít got on. Our working relationship was magic.
