Blake trying to manipulate Avon and Avon reacting in reluctance, but still gets manipulated...

As for dry-cleaning - they had to have it as they were wearing same clothes for months! I imagine they had something like sonic showers with instant sonic dry-clean. so their clothes could be cleaned while they take a shower.

There are two shower cabins for the prisoners on that same schema, I'll try to find it and post it here later.

Doesn't explain their haircuts staying same for months though...

So, we're four months in....

Now about those cots: I saw the schema of Londown somewhere and if you count seats and then cots you'll see prisoners would have to hot-bank and sleep in turns. It's like twice less cots than seats.

What happens when they have to strap in? Like at lift off?

They go to their seats then.

Sorry I am going funny. Thought there was not enough of anything...

there are enough seats (24 criminals I think) but only 6 bunks.

Ahhh another superb scene with Blake and Avon!

Considering the bad hygienic conditions, I think they have space lice that happily munch on their hair.

Avon is still not seeing the real Vila (under all his bluff)

Maybe there's another bunk room, with the other prisoners and also that American officer. Oh, and Arco and Selman.

Avon looks scared and breathes out when the ship is hit - another example of Avon making me feel the urgency of the situation. Love this moment.

Avon doesn't trust the Space Barber, so does his own.

Here Avon goes "relying on other people" again.

I can just see one of the guards charging a few credits for a haircut along the journey Wink

One Spare Part
Ooh that new guard looks like count saknussen from journey to the centre of the earth...1950s version.

Why does the conduit channel start out at floor level & end up at waist height? bit odd way of making a spaceship!

But who would give a prisoner a sharp object? I don't think prisoners would be trusted with scissors. Must be something else - sonic hair-cutter? But whatever can cut hair can also cut through the body or put someone's eye out.

Unless it's someone in the crew giving prisoners haircuts I can't see it being done!
