41st Anniversary Rewatch - A1 The Way Back
One Spare Part
It is so brilliant. From the opening credits to Blake's spine tingling last line...nothing like it on the tv then or now.

Poor Blake is fastened away from the window.

He switches seats before the next episodes start.
Maybe the American officer showed some mercy and did it. That's why Raiker had him shot.

I think this new series is not bad ... reminds me somehow ob Babylon 5, Firefly and Dark Matter. We'll see ...

Thanks for the company and good night! Oops

"No...I'm coming back"
Proposal: count your years in the amount of rewatch of the Blake's 7 cyclus and you will be longer of young age!
(well, I never grew up at all)

Thank you all for your company, it was a lovely rewatch!

That sentence cemented me as a life-long B7 fan. And 33 and a half years later, here I am.

I haven't got a clue what hooked me in Aftermath... probably Servalan shooting Mellanby. I always liked B7 when a lot farther than Doctor Who.

It's always fun to start the new year with a fresh viewing of Blake's 7. By now I've had to have seen the series in its entirety around 75 times. And I still love it.
See you all next week for the second riveting episode of Blake's 7. 'Night.
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.

"I'm coming back," got my attention in TWB, but what hooked my was the Jenna/Blake/Avon/ scene in Spacefall.

Quite possibly the most badass last line in a TV episode to have ever been uttered. Smile

Are you able respond to her with my "hi"?

Hi everyone!

Sorry to have missed last night's 41st Anniversary Rewatch, I love this ep - but I was utterly knackered after a 4.00am start, and couldn't stay awake.
I've really enjoyed catching up with your comments just now - it's a great thread!

Wanted to say yesterday - but your comments distracted me! - that I have only just realised how great the title of episode one is since reading all your comments on the rewatches.
The Way Back...it can be read so many different ways. It just bounces around my mind showing me a different aspect everytime.

Love that episode, one of my top 5, with Killer Star One Sand Blake, the 2nd side of Logic of Empire is entitled the Way Back, as a tribute, kind of Full Circle
