In Memoriam - Peter Tuddenham
27th November 2018 would have been the 100th birthday of Peter Tuddenham!

So let's raise a glass of brown ale, in tribute to the voice of Zen, Orac and Slave Unsure

Peter's full biography, written by his son Mark, is now up on the website here: Peter Tuddenham

Supreme Commander
It was always such a pleasure meeting up with Peter and having a chat. He loved being part of Blake's 7 fandom and the fans loved meeting him. He always had a story to tell and - knowing his audience - always made sure to drop a few +CONFIRMED+s and "Fascinating"'s and other Zen/Orac/Slave snippets into the conversation.

As you can see from his biography, HERE Peter had a long and varied career - entertaining audiences for over 70 years - and will always have a very special place in the hearts of Blake's 7 fans around the world, as well as his fellow cast members.

Whether it's a glass of champagne or a brown ale - let's all raise a glass to the much missed and very fondly remembered Peter Tuddenham on what would have been his hundredth birthday - 27th November 2018. +CONFIRMED+
I never got to meet him but I miss him all the same. He seemed like quite a talent.
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.
Fascinating. He was so convincing as Zen, Orac and Slave that I think of them as real. A lovely read.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.
Sharon and I loved meeting Peter at various conventions - the first Deliverance 98. Thanks for the biography Mark and for Julian attending CA4.
I met Peter at Teal Vandor in 1981 and at Edgecon in 1982. He was just a lovely chap, quite taken by surprise that anyone would want his autograph.
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

I met him at Edgecon and Deliverance too too. Lovely chap, could rattle off a whole string of accents effortlessly, would never tell me how ORAC got onto the Ark in Space though....Wonderful when he recreated his roles on Kane and Logic

+I'm sorry I will have to close down now, crash damage and power loss ,make it impossible for me to continue...+RIP
Thank you Mark Tuddenham for your father's biography; it is a great read.
I never happened to meet Peter, but I would have loved to as he gave life to my first favourite computer character, Orac.

*No, I am not. I am not expendable, I'm not stupid, and I'm not going.*
