The episode: Colin Ten - Ultraworld (Carry On Being Blue) The date: Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 The time: 7.45pm UK time Starring Paul Darrow, Jan Chappell, Michael Keating, Steven Pacey, Josette Simon, Peter Tuddenham and Peter Tuddenham as Avon's 7, plus some blue people and a great brain that spews gunge. Yes, it's time for the Orb's favourite B7 episode. In which Cally is taken over by a giant mirrorball; one of the blue people isn't bald when he really should be; Dayna and Tarrant perform the human bonding ceremony and we find where Dayna hides her explosives; Avon tries not to sleep, but the blue people are fiendish and show him "Voice From The Past"; and Vila defeats the blue people and their giant brain by telling Orac limericks. All together now.... there was a young man from Nantucket... Edited by trevor travis on 03 September 2018 19:35:31 |

Damn! And yet again - so fitting! I will probably miss that one travelling abroad next week. Luckily it's my least favorite in Season 3, I don't like it at all and people here will be better off without my party-pooping. ![]() It's the episode where Avon and Cally action figures are literally shelved (and Vila is made to sit in a corner) and the viewers are forced to play with Dayna and Tarrant only. And it's dull, dull, dull and stupid! For me, Dayna and Tarrant have zero chemistry and are boring together, while they both sparkle with other people. Also, it's a full house for drinking game again! Cally and Libbie are taken over, and Avon acts monumentally stupid in deciding to get close to this planet against everybody's wishes. Which is a total reversal from Sarcophagus for some unknown reason. But I like this moment with Avon, he's so lost here, with no idea how to help Cally. He just follows the others' lead meekly. You'd rarely see him like this. ![]() |

I'm not standing in a field this evening videoing Grandson so I can watch it. Yay! I can also be on hand when that rather nice computer expert gets all tired and starts perspiring... Speaking of blue...why does the Esso Blue Advert keep popping into my head? 'Esso, Esso , Esso Blue, Esso, Esso, Esso Blue, Blue Blue....etc' It was for paraffin. You could have pink or blue...we had the former 'cos it was cheaper! Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold. Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!! sues stories http://sjlittle.w... sues youtube channel http://www.youtub...e54/videos sues book shelf https://www.media...ne%20Shelf rebel run video http://www.youtub...prqS-XZtLo Lara and Sue's Stories http://lectorisal....webs.com/ |

Huh, I can watch this episode after all. I'll try to keep my derision to a minimum and just enjoy the silliness (or rather stupidity - ok, that's enough of hate ![]() Rather nice computer expert gets shelved too early and stays shelved for too long, but he does have a nice couple of seconds in this episode. ![]() |

I seem to be here. I may be interrupted, so will probably be dipping in and out rather than giving this ep my full attention. Supper is half-cooked, and I'm feeling a bit half-baked myself, so excuse me if I seem a bit distracted. That's because I'm a bit distracted. LittleSue - I seem to remember that Esso Blue advert from my dim and distant childhood. Did it go "Boom-boom-boom-boom, Esso Blue" ? Twitter: @TravisinaB7

Plus: *sings* " they asked me how I knew it was esso blue, I of course replied smoke gets in your eyes...". Sad that my head is full of stuff like this... ![]() Edited by One Spare Part on 11 September 2018 18:36:28 "We're in the centre of a mystical convergence here."

I found that on Youtube, but the other one, 'Esso. Esso, Esso Blue...' I can't find. There's also 'The esso sign means happy motoring' which is for petrol. We used the pink paraffin to light the Valour heaters in the mornings...using long bits of folded paper lit from the gas stove!!! How we never blew up the house is beyond me.
