Righty’o Hugbot!

Rough plan for the day...Puzzlewood then pub for lunch followed by Clearwell Caves and then depending on what time we have, possibly Bream Scowles and the colliery at Cinderford.

Might as well use the Butchers Arms at Clearwell for lunch, we’ve been before and they do a reasonable nosh.

Back in my hotel after a fab day!
Great to see Horizon and Star One (although there wasn't a door marked 'Entrance') and of course meeting my fellow Horizon friends.
Very special thanks to Meegat and Clanger Too for giving me a lift!

And before you ask, yes, I took plenty of photographs but I don't know how they turned out (it was rather dark in the wood and especially in the caves), and I'll be staying in Bristol until Tuesday, so I guess I will be able to upload any piccies not before Wednesday.

Down and safe!

A great day out once again...thank y’all for your company...

Fortunately we didn’t get conscripted into working in the Horizon mines!

We are Down and Safe, what an absolutely fabulous day.

Thank you Clare for organising, sorry we din't get to say goodbye, I think we misunderstood what was happening between Horizon and Star One!

Lovely to see everyone, Puzzlewood is such an amazing place, definitely going back there again.

Fabulous food at lunchtime.

See you all soon.

Gorgeous photos, Scott. Thank you for sharing them. It seems I really missed something as I would have loved to have looked around all those stones and trees and plants and moss- I can see why this location features in so many tv shows and films. It's magical.

Glad you all had a good time.

Down and safe! I had a great time on our outing to Horizon and Star One and during my days in Bristol - a really wonderful city well worth a visit! Now I am back in Flensburg, a really wonderful town well worth a visit (hint, hint).
Already looking forward to my next trip in September/October...
