Is anyone an expert in Nexus Modding?

It seems that I have to give up using Nexus (or any other mods) on my games. The mods I downloaded have ruined my Skyrim, Fallout 4 and now (even after I uninstalled them) has ruined my Dragon age Origins... I am v.upset about this. Can anyone help?

And no... I don't know what I am doing.

I'm playing DA:O for the first time right now and loving it. I haven't played Skyrim (yet) or F4.

I'm no expert, but here's my two cents.

For DA:O, did you use the mod manager or the DAzip Updater? I prefer the former, as you can uninstall a mod from the main interface.

For some DA Zip mods you also have to delete the associate files in the override folder located in My Documents/ Bioware/ DragonAge/ Pacages/ Core/ Override.

For over ride mods it is enough to delete the associated files from the override folder in the path shown above.

If you have two over ride mods (folders in the over ride folder) modifying the same files, you will have a problem. This is where the Check Compatibility feature of the mod manager comes in handy.

Each mod on Nexus has a forum. Check for other users having similar problems to yours.

If all else fails, unistall the game, delete the Dragon Age folder in My Documents / Bioware and reinstall.
