Michael comes out swinging. He has a fully formed character all ready to go.

He is brilliant in this role. Alas, some writers forgot that Vila was clever and only wrote him as comic relief.

The shot of Varon and Maja in their bedroom was another moment that I saw the difference in Blake's 7 from a certain other science-fi neighbour.

I'm a one man office these days, and I am sitting here jiving to B7

I can relate to that clerk,

Michael steals the show from his very opening scene... bringing some much needed humour to this episode.

But also slightly sinister. He's had his head adjusted; so has Blake. They've got that in common...

Hmmm, does that mean Vila has missing memories, as well?

Treeko
My husband commented today that Vila's remark re head adjustment would make a great starting point for a big finish audio...

Done nicely. The grown ups understand but the kids just think the pair took a nap.

He is one of the highlights in this. Nigel Lambert is really quite creepy in this.
Mind you if a defence lawyer is going to openly talk about someone elses case in front of a third party, then surely it's not going to end well!

Nothing really rhymes with berg in English, so you could do...

There was a young lady of Flensburg....
Who danced on the top of an iceberg....

Or you could go for a near rhyme...

Who drove into town in her Chrysler....
