The episode: Albert One - The Way Back The date: Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 The time: 7.45pm UK time THE FIRST OF OUR 40TH ANNIVERSARY REWATCHES! Starring Gareth Thomas, Michael Halsey, Pippa Steel, Robert Beatty, Robert James, Jeremy Wilkin, Sally Knyvette and Michael Keating. In which we meet Roj Blake. It's his show. And he's clearly going to have six associates. Ravella, Richie and Bran Foster look prime candidates at the start of the episode, as do Varon and Maja later on. Hmmmm. How about the comic relief thief (who provides the only humour in the whole episode) and the sexy smuggler then? Blake loses in this episode. Let's start as we mean to go on. ![]() And don't forget to boo Morag, who suggests the whole child molesting thing. Booooooooooooooooooo!! |

Hope to be with you for this one, assuming work finishes at a reasonable hour, which on a Tuesday is in the lap of the gods! ![]() |

Having tried it, I'm not sure that's such a good idea. B7 was made by the BBC for 19" low definition tellys with small mono speakers and an attitude of "In 40 years who will care." Nevertheless, a larger than life Jenna does hold a certain appeal. ![]() |

Just getting ready. Tea, biccies, After Eight Mints, oh yes and that double page spread to see who is who and who will become part of this Blake's 7 mob. This Terry Nation chap, he writes good stories. I wonder if I will like this new show? Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold. And yes, I left work 10 minutes early to catch an earlier train in order to be home in time for this rewatch! I'll have to make up the time when I'm back in the office, and I may not be able to do this every Tuesday!

Down in Devon we've not discovered train travel yet. ;-) |

We didn't even have a VCR and the signal was coming from the Isle of Wight transmitter...well known for losing the signal during rain, thunder, wind, snow...etc. They had to repeat Morgan's Boy in this area because the transmitter packed up during a severe thunderstorm!
