Stupidest-ever end-of-season cliffhanger/ending

I really can't vote as the only programme I have watched on your list was Doctor Who. I couldn't be bothered to watch Dallas or Dynasty while it was on. As Brad pointed out, during that time (and still) we seek out British programming over most American dross.
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.

I don't know which was more ridiculous Fallon being abducted by UFO or changing her appearance... Maybe she or (he Pfft ) is a future incarnation of the Doctor. Grin

Dynasty was good trashy fun (but went downhill fast after Pamela Sue Martin departed as Fallon), but Dallas was actually really good for seven or eight years. The plotting was so clever.

Completely changed personality as well... Joan Collins and Pamela Sue Martin were totally believable as mother and daughter; Emma Samms played a completely different wimpy character - Alexis' daughter would have never been like that.

The two best characters in Dynasty were Alexis and Fallon, and once the real Fallon left, the whole show suffered badly.

But, yes, maybe Fallon WAS the Doctor. Grin

Here's proof of how sharp the writing was right at the beginning of Dynasty:

Pamela Sue Martin is brilliant in this scene as Fallon, while there's some wonderful expressions from Linda Evans, as Krystle begins to wonder exactly what kind of life she has just married into, with a lurid tale of getting away with murder, and then finding out that her new adult step-daughter is carrying on with her husband's entire football team!

Incidentally, Pamela Sue Martin left Dynasty because of two reasons: her health was suffering from the schedule, plus she felt Dynasty was in danger going from a clever satire about the rich and powerful to a lame celebration of the same. She called it right and got out just as the whole thing became completely daft.

Everybody watched Dallas here in the 90s. It was in the first "US tv shows" wave that got here after the revolution so everybody watched. We have probably nostalgic feelings towards shows that are forgotten or considered bad these days but we loved them. Grin
